Getting Started

Not sure where to start? Start here!

Welcome to StickFitter. You're about to experience club fitting the way it should be - personalized, affordable, and built around your actual game.

StickFitter replaces time-consuming and expensive in-person fitting sessions with an AI-powered conversation that adapts to what you tell it. Describe your game, your tendencies, and the misses that drive you crazy, and you'll get a set of club recommendations spec'd for your swing - complete with shaft flex, length adjustments, lie angle, and a curated list of places to buy each club new or pre-owned.

What you'll do in your first session

1. Start a conversation. Click into the chat panel and tell StickFitter what you're looking for. There are a few starter prompts on screen to get you going - a slice fix, a putter change, a full-bag upgrade - but you can type whatever feels natural. The more specific you are about your current clubs, your handicap, and what's frustrating you, the better the fit.

2. Answer a few questions. StickFitter will ask about your handicap, typical driving distance, height, handedness, and any consistent misses. These aren't filler questions - each one changes the recommendation. A 6'3" golfer with a 90 mph driver swing gets a very different iron spec than a 5'8" golfer at 105 mph.

3. Upload a swing video (optional but powerful). If you can capture a short clip of your swing (from down-the-line, face-on, or both), StickFitter will analyze your tempo, swing plane, and ball flight tendencies to refine the fit. More on this in [article link].

4. Review your recommendation. Once StickFitter has enough information, you'll see a full set of recommended clubs appear in the right panel. Each club shows the head and shaft models, the exact specs, a price range, and direct links to buy it new or used.

5. Save, share, or refine. Export a PDF to bring to a golf shop, share it with a buddy for a second opinion, or keep chatting to adjust the recommendation. Nothing is locked in.

A few things to know before you start

StickFitter doesn't replace a physical wrist-to-floor measurement. For length, we use height as a proxy - if you're on the tall or short end, mention it and we'll factor it in.

It's conversational, not a form. You don't have to know every term. If something comes up you don't understand, just ask.

Your fittings are saved. You can have multiple fitting sessions for different goals (new irons today, a driver hunt next month). Each lives as its own chat in the left sidebar.
